Turn down your thermostat , shorter showers and layer up clothes

Almost half the money spent on energy bills is absorbed by heating and hot water costs. Turning your heating down by just one degree could save up to £80 a year. Taking shorter showers will use less hot water and lower you gas usage. Put an extra layer on if you feel a bit cold rather than putting the heating on.
